Answers before you click Install

Is the redaction actually permanent?
Yes. The underlying text is stripped from the PDF object model — not painted over — and a verification pass confirms it's gone. You can also redact by pattern (SSN, email, phone…) or by pasting a list of names, and it's OCR-aware on scanned pages.
Do my files ever get uploaded?
No. Everything runs in your browser, on your device. Verify it yourself — open the Network tab while redacting a PDF; you'll see zero requests.
Can it do Bates numbering and batch exhibit stamps?
Yes — Bates with prefix presets and a provenance sidecar, and exhibit stamping for a single file or a whole batch at once, with a separator-page binder mode. Acrobat needs a paid plugin for batch exhibits.
Can I use one Pro licence on my laptop, desktop, and phone?
Yes — one licence covers all your own devices. It's not a per-seat licence, so two people need two licences.
